4-27-2020: One Month Clapping Anniversary (Tuesday's Truths WK 177)

For my 177th segment of Tuesday's Truths which is falling on the twenty-eighth of April, I'd like to begin by saying that one month ago yesterday (Monday April 27th 2020) marked the date #ClapBecauseWeCare sessions began (3/27/2020) in NYC.

I initially learned about the tribute a few days after the fact and began participating on a nightly basis two days later on March 29th, so my one month anniversary of doing this is coming up!

As I've been discussing within a number of posts here on Blogger these tributes is to pay homage to first responders, healthcare professionals and essential workers who are keep working tirelessly (through all kinds of weather) for everyone during this COVID-19 (coronavirus) pandemic.

During the course of these nightly sessions, I've become aquatinted with a few people I'd never met n a first name basis one of them is Julie Tersigni who lives in a building is slightly northwest of where I live and on the first night that I participated she yelled from her window to announce she loved my garden.

Julie can be seen in many of my entries here on Blogger that cover this tribute as well as in the ones directly below which I took last evening.

It was great for me to learn of her admiration for my garden and as many of you know, it is the setting for the stories included in the three volume book series, Words In Our Beak.

WORDS IN OUR BEAK BOOK SERIES

[To reiterate what I've been saying here on Blogger, "During this time where many people are confined to their homes due to lockdown restrictions (re the coronavirus pandemic), these books (whose stories are set in my rooftop garden) are great to have around as a reminder that there is still so much beauty in our fallen world."]

On another note, in addition to meeting Julie, I've also met a couple (Giuseppe and Teresa) who are staying in an apartment directly east of me. They can be seen in the following photos which I also took last night.

Additional pictures of Giuseppe and Teresa have been included in my postings here on Blogger that discuss clapping/cheering. Giuseppe has emailed me a video he took of one of the sessions and it can be seen directly below.

He also emailed me pictures of my participation (seen in the next photo set).

The latter is one you might recognize from a recent entry where I discussed my line of face masks (seen in the following pictures) which are available via Fine Art America.

These masks are based on images I have on Fine Art America  within my  my Black and White Photo Collection, as well as my Dragonfly Collection, and my Kaleidoscopic collection and also of an image from one of my bird imge collections).

On another subject (which is where I'll leave it for today, dear reader), a few additional photo-ops from last night's one month anniversary session can be seen below.
