Today is the Feast of the Epiphany, (also known as Three Kings Day), a celebration that I've blogged about in bygone years. I don't have anything to add to my musings re that subject, so please click here to read my former entries and have yourself a blessed Epiphany!
Meanwhile, because there were three kings it's a good time to once again DISPEL (I first attempted to do this here on Blogger in 2011) the adage, "bad things happen in three."
My grandfather for one would've begged to differ with it, as you might surmise upon seeing him holding my two sisters and me (as evidenced in the photograph directly below).
I also know some snowballs (seen in the next picture) who do not believe that bad things happen in threes.
Moreover, three goslings (featured in the following photo) also disagree with the adage.
These birds are featured in volume two of my THREE volume book series, Words In Our Beak.
And with this response to once again challenge the "bad things happen in three" adage, I wish you a Happy Three Kings Day/Epiphany, dear reader.
