Mother's Day is for the
birds, as evidenced by these
pigeons in
my garden featured in the image directly atop this entry.
It is also evidenced in the series of photos directly below.
This fact (Mothers Day being for the birds) is also evidenced by these
Mallards at the east end of
Central Park's
Turtle Pond (featured in the next photographs)...
... as well as by
Canadian geese such as the ones near
Hernshead Cove in
Central Park, as evidenced in the next sequence.
But this fact is also evidenced by the Mallards in the
Hudson (as seen in the next set of photo-ops).
European starlings in my garden  as well as
Northern cardinals who visit my place also prove Mothers Day is for the birds as seen in the following pictures.
For your info, dear reader,
pigeons,
Canadian geese,
European starlings and
Northern cardinals; along with many other bird types, are featured in my book series,
Words In Our Beak.
On this Mother's Day (today) please let me remind you, these books make a great gift for anyone who is a mom and even if your gift of these books is belated, I'm sure it will be appreciated!
