The image that is atop this entry was taken during last night's (4-23-2020) #ClapBecauseWeCare event which honors first responders and healthcare workers who are keeping New Yorkers as safe as possible during the coronavirus pandemic.

My aforementioned image features a sign that had a phone number (which I hid here for privacy purposes) that a woman posted on a poster board as she wanted me to call her and make arrangements to email copies of the photos I've taken during the sessions.

She has called out during some of them to let me know she loves my garden, which as some of you know is the setting for my three volume book series, Words In Our Beak.

MY BOOK SERIES

As I've been saying here on Blogger, "During this time where many people are confined to their homes due to lockdown restrictions (re the coronavirus pandemic), these books (whose stories are set in my rooftop garden) are great to have around as a reminder that there is still so much beauty in our fallen world."

In any event, I phoned her last night after the session ended and made arrangements to send her photo-ops. Hopefully, when the need for social distancing passes, she can visit my garden as it was nice to make become acquainted.

Meanwhile, the following are other photo-ops from last night's clapping/cheering session.
