Today is Valentine's Day 2019 and in some ways the holiday is for the birds because they take time to show their affection by giving total attention to one another; as evidenced by this pair of house finches who are atop the string lights which hang over my rooftop garden.
When birds want to express their love for the other, one of the things they do is groom the other; as the male finch (right) is doing for his mate in the aforementioned picture; and as a crow his doing to the one he loves in the screenshot posted below.

also featured on greeting cards (seen in the following pics) which are suitable for today's occasion as well as for any occasion that on ents to express their love to someone.
