People are noticing a Great Blue Heron in CP
The screen shot atop this entry is of a tweet re the appearance of a Great Blue Heron who was seen in Central Park. It was in my Twitter feed yesterday. Not being a fan of using the word "hot" to describe a bird (or anything else for that matter unless it is weather or the temperature of food), I responded.
Here's a screen shot of my response.
In any event the photos included in my tweet were ones from January of 2018. I have been on the look out for this bird type since I first came upon him/her last year and yesterday in the late afternoon through early evening I saw one! He/she is featured in the next set of images.
I plan to speak more (here on Blogger) about the circumstances re my encounter with this creature, so please stay tuned.
