My visitor (seen in the photo above) is having a her "trial run" of what she plans to do with her makeup for a pre-Halloween event that she will be attending.
She has read volume two of my book series, Words In Our Beak, and is eager to talk about how birds are impacted by outdoor Halloween decor. (Images of some pages from the book that reflect this can be found in the pictures directly below. (Purchase info for the book is posted below this blog entry).

Moreover, my visitor loves to receive snail-mail that isn't a bill, or for a product introduction flyer, or in the form of a political ad, so she is in the process of sending out cards for the upcoming (twelve days) holiday! AND she has chosen to use mine. My card pictured is below, and as you can see, it features an amusing shot of a Jack-O-Lantern watching house finches trick-or-treating.

How about you, dear reader, have you considered sending out Halloween cards to those near and dear to you so that they can have a "treat" (the image on this card) in their mail box? Or will you be entertaining and in the need of sending out invitations? This card is perfect to serve as an invite.
