Ring -A-Ling: Soon it will be Valentines Day! (Celebrate with music, mimosas & cards!)

In one week's time, on February 11th, 2017, The Bartow-Pell Mansion Museum (BPMM) will be offering a unique way to celebrate Valentine’s Day in nineteenth century style! According to their Facebook Page (where the photo atop this posting is from), folks can bring the one they love to BPMM, where they may "sip mimosas and enjoy some light fare, then sit back and take in a performance in the parlors by the renowned woodwind ensemble Quintet of the Americas. Featuring flutist Karla Moe, oboist Matt Sullivan, clarinetist Paul Won Jin Cho, hornist Barbara Oldham, and bassoonist Gina Cuffari, the quintet was formed in Bogota in 1976 by American members of the Colombian National Orchestra. Their repertoire represents works from composers with a wide range of aesthetic viewpoints." On their FB Page they state that the cost as being this:"BPMM Members: $35; Not-Yet BPMM Members: $40."

Readers of my posts here on Blogger might recall that I visited The BPMM this past December, when someone I know treated me to a holiday performance given there by a brass ensemble. That event was spectacular! If their upcoming venue features talent like the ensemble I heard in December, it should be wonderful; and a great way to impress one's valentine!

BPMM also has a unique gift shop! I'm honored to say, they are offering my fauna-flora-insect-themed postcards at reasonable prices! Thumbnails of the cards being sold there can be seen in the following images.

However, if you'd like to see larger images of my cards before going to BPMM, they can be found in a prior entry here on Blogger.

Treating one you love to The Music and Mimosa event at BPMM, as well as giving them my flora-fauna-insect-themed cards, are two ways that you can express love and appreciation for someone dear to to you on this Valentines Day — which as of this blog post is only ten days away!
