It's beginning to look a lot like Spring in my garden. (Tuesday's Truths WK 118)

For Snoopy, it is Woodstock returning from the other side of the doghouse that causes him to think Spring must be near, for me its the fact that my crocuses are poking their heads out from under their mulch that makes me think the season is truly upon us.

This is evidenced in the following picture.

An array of tulip types are taking a look too; which you can see in the next set of photographs featuring Day Dream Tulips who are a type I've never had before...

... as well as Spring Green Tulips (another type who is new to me).

Red Riding, a newcomer who is also a tulip variety, has not yet poked out her head...

... apparently she is still getting her beauty sleep. Returning tulip types include the Je t'aime...

and Elegant Lady varieties.

As you can see, they are also just beginning to peek out from their "blanket" to check out their surroundings. Tulips (although none of the types seen in this posting) are featured in volume one of my book series, Words In Our Beak.
