ANNOUNCEMENT: "Words In Our Beak Volume One" is Now Available in A Kindle Version!

Words In Our Beak’s goal is to open readers to a simple understanding of the winged world and their environment. Set in a rooftop urban garden in New York City, my story is told in the voice of Cam, a female cardinal, who visits it. Words In Our Beak is directed to children and adults who are curious about birds, and want to learn about them from a unique perspective. The book includes hundreds of images of flora and fauna, links to movies, as well as to informative narratives that have been created by the author.

It has been close to five months since my last entry (7-21-15) here on Blogger and I must say it’s good to be home for the holidays! I won’t go into details on my hiatus for I am here today to share good things that have happened. Cam, the cardinal who visits my rooftop garden in New York City, has had another girl who she named Peanut! She can be seen in the picture directly above, with her father, Mac.
Cam and Mac chose the name Peanut because her daughter adores this food. The other news I’d like to share is that “Words In Our Beak, Volume One,” the book I typed for Cam, and published through Apple’s iBooks, has been formatted for Android devices! It is in this book where the announcement of the arrival of Cam’s daughter Peanut was first made. This version is called “Words In Our Beak Volume One (The epub Version)” and is pictured below.

It was placed in the Amazon's book store yesterday. Now I am at work on creating a related Amazon Author Page which will provide more details. Meanwhile, I'd like you to know that “Words In Our Beak Volume One (The Kindle Version)” has remained true to our iBooks version, except while we were converting it, we included some interesting —  as well as fun — images of a recent event that took place here. And since Peanut arrived during the time we were reformatting the iBook template to meet the needs of the Kindle template, we felt compelled to include her!
